Kenneth E. Webb

Kenneth E. Webb, CapStar’s chief development officer, is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and has more than three decades of banking experience, much of it in the Nashville market.
Ken was an original member of the management team that came together in 2007 to begin the formation of CapStar Bank. Prior to CapStar, he worked for First Tennessee Bank, where he was responsible for a wide range of credit-related initiatives. He also served in several roles managing commercial, corporate and treasury management groups and as president of First Tennessee Bank, Nashville. Ken started his banking career as a management trainee for Commerce Union Bank and served in several roles with that institution and its successor banks after its acquisition by Nations Bank.
Kenneth is active in charitable work, serving on boards and in leadership roles for the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee, Tennessee State University's College of Business' Economics and Finance Advisory Board, and the Nashville Sertoma Club and Foundation. He is a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee and now lives in west Nashville with his wife, Christy, and their three children.
