Toby Wilt

Toby Wilt, a member of CapStar’s board of directors, is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (civil engineering). He is an accomplished business executive, having served on boards and in executive management roles for companies including TSW Investment Company; Christie Cookie Company; 1st Source Corporation; Outback Steakhouse, Inc.; TLC Corporation; First American National Bank; Williamson County Bank; and many more.

He has expertise in finance, compensation, asset policy, audit and marketing and is also a non-practicing certified public accountant. He is active in the community through his private foundation and has a deep commitment to local organizations.

Toby has served on the board of the Metropolitan Transit Authority; the Belle Meade Country Club; and in various roles for the Young Presidents Organization; the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Belmont University. He was raised in Evanston, Illinois and was a pilot for the U.S. Air Force, receiving his wings in 1969.

He and his wife Lucianne have six children and stepchildren and nine grandchildren. An avid golfer, Toby is a member of the Golf Club of Tennessee and several country clubs.
