Louis A. Green III

Louis A. Green III was an incorporator for American Security Bank, which merged with CapStar in July, 2012. He also served as a director there. A native of North Carolina, L.A. attended the University of Tennessee and began his career in sales at GreenSeed. He rose to division manager and in 1983, became president. GreenSeed was sold in 1989 to Genesis Seed Co., a start-up company owned by the Hillman Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the time of the sale, GreenSeed had annual revenues in excess of $35 million. 

L.A. is general partner of Green & Little, a real estate investment company. In addition, he is president of Green-Little Corporation, a real estate management company. He has partnership interests in several companies investing in industrial, commercial and retail real estate. He has served as director of Commerce Union Bank of Sumner County and as an advisory director of NationsBank (both now Bank of America). L.A. currently lives in Sumner County with his wife Fif; they have two children.
